Key principles

Authors represent that they own the submitted material or have documented publishing permission. Authors retain their copyright and grant ShikshaSutra a non-exclusive licence to host and display approved work to authorized readers during the agreed period. All manuscripts require editorial approval. ShikshaSutra branding and the author name appear on every approved cover. Unlicensed, unlawful, exploitative and prohibited explicit content is not accepted.

Commercial royalty percentages, settlement cycles, payment disputes, rights withdrawal, liability, notice, dispute resolution, privacy, tax treatment and termination require execution of a separately reviewed binding schedule and publishing agreement before any paid book goes live.

The platform may temporarily restrict a disputed work following a credible complaint, subject to appropriate legal review. Claims do not automatically authorize payment to a third party.
